I am sure that he has signed figurines before, but I think the cat might be one of very few. What would you think a good start price for these items on ebay would be?

It is generally recommended that your starting price should be as low as possible. This encourages bidding. Don't worry if it stays low for ages - many people wait until the last minute to bid. Try to make sure that the auction ends at a sociable time eg. 8pm in the evening when the maximum number of people are online. And, personally, I never agree to end an auction early because the price I get through an auction ending at the proper time is usually higher than what people offer to end early. Plus some people try to trick you into accepting less when asking you to end an auction early.
