I believe that admitting imperfections, and even laughing about them, is the best way to relate to people. It breaks down barriers and lets others know that you don't take yourself too seriously. It's kind of a way of allowing them to "see" you for who you are. What's the point of trying to appear perfect? I think that's an automatic turn-off and would keep people from wanting to get to know you better.

I admit some of my imperfections.
But most of them, I'm better off keeping to myself.
No one's perfect, I know. But some things are better kept to yourself, instead of showing them to everyone who is better off not knowing.

I couldn't cover them if I tried. I'm a huge scatterbrain and I forget stuff all the time. It's hard to hide it.

The latter.
Somehow, over the years, people have placed me on this high pedestal and I really don't belong there.
