Are you sure it is just a 1935? The mint mark if any, is on the eagle side below the wreath, near the bottom of the coin. If it is just a 1935, in a grade of very good (wing tips of eagle outlined, rims are fine and even, top of letters at rims flattened.) it is worth $2.45. In grade very fine (most hair detail show on Washington, wing feathers are clear.) it is worth $2.60. More in higher grades less in lower grades. It is not a scarce coin. What actually makes the price in low grades is the silver content. It has 7-8 times face in silver. The 1935-D in very fine $10.00 or S in above very fine $4.75
