A sypmathy pregnancy in men is not only plausible, but some would say a factual phenomena.

Sleeping a lot on the other hand could also be an indication of other factors, however.

Excess sleeping is a sign of depression and although he might not be upset or depressed about the pregnancy, he might be worried about finances, your health, the baby's health, the future of the world or many other things.

He could also be tired if he's been working more or under stress.

OR he could just be a sleepyhead.

Just give him extra love and attention. Ask him if something is bothering him and talk about it. You should be able to determine what the cause is by just having a heart to heart. Sometimes fathers worry that their attention and love is going to be lessened after the birth of a baby. Just give him loving reassurance to dispel any fears he might have.

If it's none of the other factors listed above and it is merely a sympathy pregnancy, I would eat this up if I were you. Not many women get the pleasure of truly "sharing" the experience with the fathers of their children. It just shows he cares about the both of you to the extent that his subconscious mind is putting him in the same boat as you.

It's so adorable and sweet when that happens!!

Congratulations to both of you!!

Could be. Lots of dads exhibit pregnancy symptoms.
It's called "sympathetic pregnancy"

no. men can have symptoms, but it's more like gaining weight with you. my hubby got "sympathy stretch marks". a man being tired is not an indicator of your being pregnant.
