How long can you extend a vehicles body, past the wheel base. Is there a general rule of a 1/3?

no If it is stable it can be any length but the strengthening may make it very heavy and hard to stop why not go the limo route any length can be achieved just beware the speed humps, bridges etc....

Hi there, You are right with your genral rule, constuctions and use come into play as well as vehicle weights and something as simple as tyre construction too
