You want something that will bring out the yellow, so you would go to the opposite color as that - purple. Plums and lavenders really make green and hazel eyes seems more bright and green (vs. brown).

To really make them pop line your outer outlid with purple eyeliner it should make your eye lashes wider and put on brown mascara to make your eyelashes have more volume.
colors to make your eyes pop : are purple, pink and burgundy eye shadows. Check out these combinations:
Green Eyes: Shadows: Purple Classic Smoky (all over the lid and into the bottom lash line
Also great for green eyes are blue, brown, bronze, coral, copper and orange eye shadow
Bronze eye shadow over the entire eyelid and into the bottom lash line; Copper shadow continued into the crease for a more intense smoky look.
To really also make them pop try the smokey eye affect take your eyeshadow brush or palette and touch the outer corner of your eye and swoop upward and it should really draw the focus onto your eyes .
You will look pretty and everyone will be complimenting how pretty your eyes look..YOU'll love it .

I have green eyes also. I wear all earth tone shades and line my lids with brown. Green eyes don't need alot of help, they pop by themselves!

I have really green eyes and I either wear dark brown shadow with brown mascara for a smoky look, or purple shadow with black mascara. Purple shadow is really awesome for green eyes!

I have green eyes and I found that brown shades and neutrals bring out the green in them more.

Light pink or white around the lids....then charcoal or brown half way up your lids and on the sides of your eyes to widen them. Then a light colour on top.....
