The law states you do not need to give a specific ailment name , just that you are sick. If they respect you they should understand. You can just say its a woman thing, if you have a man for a supervisor, he will get the hint...or...I won't be going to work today(in a quiet slow voice) I have to attend a funeral. Then pick one out from the newspaper that it will be on that Monday. ....or.... (Remember, don't say your are sorry that you won't be going to work today and you can also call late at night and leave a message with someone.) I won't be going to work today I am sick, I have been vomiting all night long. (when, they ask will you come tomorrow, for work) you will say, I hope I can, If I can't I will call you, bye. .... Then if they see you on the store or out that day. Just say , hi, I took some pepto for the vomiting and I am feeling a little better. then next day show up to work... or......I will not be showing up to work today, I mom, is sick I have to take her to the doctor. (when they ask what is she sick off) I don't know, she made an appointment , I think it is her heart...... or.... best of all , just say the truth... hey , i wont show up to work today... (why) I will show up tomorrow, Its personal, i cant tell you.... then stay home and relax and have fun...

Food poisoning is one of those things that happen often, you vomit, possibly get the runs. and a bit of fever with stomach cramps, and nausea
Say you ate a sandwich from a Pre-wrapped corner store for a snack and your poor body is paying for it now, call in early. say you started vomiting a few hours back.
As for medication, usually camomile's tea and toast and a day to recover is all this takes.
Good luck, and make sure no one sees you during the day running around town looking fabulous, you hear?

You can call in sick without listing a group of medications and stuff. Just tell him that you are feeling under the weather and you think you go the stomach bug that a family member had. Typicaly employers will not want you throwing up at work.

Just say you had a bit of food poisoning and that you were vomitting most of the morning. If you need a note from your Doc. you tell them the same thing. Good Luck

You could say you have infectious mononucleosis (or mono) that you got from sharing a drink with somebody, symptons include fever, sore throat, muscle soreness and fatigue, treatment usually only needs rest and sometimes paracetamol for relieving headaches, fever and small aches and pains. Hope it works.

Simply let them know that you do not feel well and will be in on Tuesday. Dont go into details because you will be tripped up on a lie eventually.

Tell them your car broke down and you have to get it fixed. That way when you go in all chipper and OK on Tuesday it won't seem weird
