Ok, so I put a disc in my ps2 the game is crazy taxi which mine has barely any scratches on it...ok so i put it in and then it makes this weird noise where its trying to read the disc and when it gets moving its fine but it keeps making the thumping noise and the game will just stop and say loading and once the noise stops again it's fine...i've cleaned the disc and all that and it still does it...and it's only on this one disc...any suggestions?

If you arnt pushing that little hole thingie on the little hole thingie holder all the way it will do that. sometimes the manufacturer (not a good speller AT ALL) will mess up the little hole thingie so you cant put it down all the way but... that probably didnt happen.

  • Could be a lens error. You should clean that too. Does it do this to other games? If just Crazy Taxi, do you have other PS2CD games to test this out with? It might that the data on the disc got corrupted.

Sounds like the eye might be going out on it.
