I am almost 40 years old now, I was molested from the time I was 4 until I was 12 and was brainwashed by the SOB to never tell anyone ( and I didn't) , and it has affected my life ever since. I have NO sexual drive at all and my hubby deserves better. What can I do?

EVERYONE who has ever been molested feels like ****. That's what molestation does to the unwilling victim, usually a child below the age of knowledge as to what is happening to them. You need to get in touch with a support group called "Adults Molested As Children". AMAC for short. Individual counseling can help, but it can take years dancing around what really happened to you. With AMAC, they get right to the heart of the matter and you can work through your rage at your own pace, and it won't take nearly as long as counseling. Best wishes.

You must go to a good psychologist. I don't know you, so I can't advice you to speak to friends and non professionals about your problem. If you do, you could regret it, because your problem is a very sensible and a two-edged matter.
You and your hubby might however ask one another what you await from the other and then try to give it. The degree of tenderness people await from the partner defers enormously, as all the human qualities differ. Perhaps your hubby dosn't want more. Just ask him. And good luck.

There is help and hope. We have nieces who were molested. They are now adults and still struggle a bit. Here's a web site which you miht use to find a therapist. I recommend therapy very higly but find a person familiar with your problem:http://therapists.psychologytoday.com/ppc/prof_search.php?iorb=4764
Even writing or joining an online group can also help.

Maybe you should tell your hubby what happened if you haven't. Then, you should
take counseling/therapy. I'm sorry about what
happened.
