in windows it happens whenever you install a software that can download things for you , i will tell you what it could be , the software must be having a pop up menu which would include FILE and under that there would be a header saying PREFERENCES.if you can find an option which says shut down or restart after successful downloading , kindly uncheck it . it happens .
but if it is a problem relating to the windows software itself , you could be in trouble , try and reset the settings of your pc , or contact a vendor . till then goodluck , and happy hunting the virus down

Yes, you have a virus.You can reformat your computer but before that make a backup of all your files. The next time you will have new, fresh system. Please use a anti virus. Norton anti virus is my best recommendation to you. And every month update your Norton.
