Well, at 32 weeks my little guy decided to JUMP into my pelvis in the middle of the night. All in one big sloshing amniotic movement.
It can happen in an instant, obviously.. lol. Even when in bed!
Just stay active mom, your body is a baby making machine, he'll drop here soon. You'll make it!

Considering this is your 4th child, the baby may not drop until RIGHT before you go into labor; meaning it could happen just a few hours prior to the onslaught of labor.
Typically, only in first pregnancies does the child drop a few days before labor.

My first baby didnt drop, my water broke, I had the contractions, they even induced me hung out with the epidural, dialated fully but he just wouldnt let go of my ribs lol. The docs gave up waiting brought me to delivery and 15minutes of pushing I had my baby. Dropping doesnt mean anything. Dont worry either way if you go too long the doc will decide for you.

im sure the midwife will tell you all you need to know. First babies usually drop and engage and stay there but subsequent babies can "pop"in and out so I dont think you should worry it will do what it wants when it wants. best of luck and merry xmas.
