What is the best way that the United States can show the world we will no longer meddle in their affairs?

What about National Security issues, should we meddle or not?

no then we would be bad for not helping a "LESS FORTUNATE" country. We are supposed to help when they want but when its something for us we are the aggressors. Typical leader envy.

all these people that appose us think that we should be the babysitters of the world but when they dont agree with us they complain we are trying to be the babysitters of the world. The fact remains that somebody has to lead and control. If its not someone like the US with a stable govt it will be someone that is not stable. Think of it like a play ground. If you just let the kids play with no over sight some bully will start to pick on the rest and somebody will get hurt. If you put some chaperone's out it surpresses the bully. We tried to create a world group that does this but the UN became the joke that it is. You cant create a humanitarian group and put the most nonhumanitarian countries in said group. you get corruption and a do nothing group..

I will probably take another beating for this answer, but our "meddling" is due in part to the fact that we are a Christian nation and want to use our power to fight world injustices.

I agree that the UN has too much control and costs us too much money.

If we cut off foreign aid, we would probably have China at our door with her hand out.

We are absolutely right to fight radical Islamic terrorism, and if we have to go it alone, so be it. We can cut off aid to anyone who won't help.

Article 5 States we Could Change. If we Vote in a Good House Crew we could change the Constitution. Then, we wouldn't have such a Hipocritical Democracy to Try and Spread. We killed off everyone in our Paths. Not right but Obsessive history. We need to Shake Hands and Hold, hug and Endure our Fellow HUMANS!! Not Fight them. Lots of Americans Don't Care to think, Just Bash one another, and this leads to Bullying with other Countries. MONEY, POWER and REVENUE. Eliminate all that then World would just face Warming Issues from our Past BS.

I am only answering this since so many people mentioned foreign aid.

Did you know that it is a fact that George Bush signed a bill called the LATERAL IMMUNITY AGREEMENTS All aid to any country will be cut off unless they agree not to press charges for crimes against humanity of American Politicians involved with the war. These are the facts, Bush says its to protect out soldiers, but read the wording of it, and its to protect politicians and any Country who signs it gets lots of aid, I am sorry but these are facts, Look it up.

You know if people of both parties had the same zeal for fairness, there would be 99% less curruption, look at the actual issues, not the party

We can do good things for the rest of the world without trying to make them into what we want them to be. The sooner we realize that the better and we really need to start meddling in our own affairs instead of spending billions of dollars a month in a country that doesn't want us there or doesn't want our brand of government.

Since Israel is the leading welfare recipient of the USA, cut it off first. The message would be very clear. When averaged out, Israel receives $15 million per day from the USA. That is only what is known. The USA also holds an oil reserve for Israel, costing billions to maintain.
