I'd like to have the power to permanently steal the power of other mutants (keyword is permanently). I'd start with Wolverine (regeneration would keep me alive long enough to steal the powers of other mutants) or Jane Grey/Phoenix (because her powers are simply crazy), then Mystique (I love deception), Nightcrawler (just plain handy), and the good professor.

i would have wolverins mutant heling abiloty and his animal kean sences, his Superhuman strength, stamina, agility, and reflexes
and his slow aging process (his metal claws are not a power they came about when he was put through the super soldier program codenamed whepon X when the a near indistrctable alloy adimantium was grafted to his bones however he did orgionaly have bone claws) how ever i would not mind going thought the grafting part of the proceas with out the brain wasahing and the rest of it

Gambit, to be able to charge any item in my hand, cool you'd never need a battery again. Or Mister Sinister to be so evil and immortal. He can also control and create powers in others.

I got this one all figured out after watching X-Men 2, my 'Mary Sue' character controls electricity (which is useful as a weapon), calls herself Electra, has red highlights and wears a leather coat. I know I'm sad, there's no need to tell me.
