What are the good books that are useful for me to learn about the subject? What equipment do I need?(basic ones) I just want to explore the area throughoutly before I made a dramatic choice in switching my career path. Thanks a lot.

You can pursue any career non-related to your major! There's still time to enter a Media Arts school. Go to a site called: www.assist.org and it will show you a course plan if you want to transfer to a different school. check out other colleges such as, Point Loma Nazarene University, UCSD, USD, SDSU, etc. Good Luck and I hope everyting works out!
