P.S: I bought this Mix-a-Mold poweder, itz like, u add water to it & it becomez all rubbery, then u put anything in it, & it'll take itz exact shape, then pour some liquid thingy that takes that shape n'dries off, well, u get the idea.. so, u think I can use it somehow?? plz be creative & think "Valentine'z"!!

I'm not sure about your Mix a Mold thing, but have you considered making a special dinner for your sweetheart? If you plan it and cook it yourself, then its still "handmade". My husband did that for me last year and after dinner, he gave me a beautiful card and a single rose with the traditional box of candy. I thought it was wonderful.

Well this is what I do. I don't really believe in valentines day as I think it is a corporate scam, but I do love my girl and want her to feel special and show i love her. So I usually make a date a few days after valentines day and make it OUR special day not to be shared with everyone else! Everything valentines is on sale! flowers are 10-15 bucks cheaper and the restaurants aren't packed full of people all doing the same thing. this makes it more about us, and not about the holiday. to me that is makes it more important! also i don't break my bank doing it. hope i helped!

I think Valentines Day was secretly contrived by Hallmark Co. just to make money. But that's my opinion. I think any gift you give or recieve on Valentines Day is a good gift. At least it shows you were thinking of the other person or vice versa. Wait..I once got a dozen dead roses, the point being they were dead. THAT isn't a good gift. The best thing I ever got for Valentines Day was this Card that my boyfriend made for me in art class when we were in highschool. I liked it so much I married the guy :) AND I still have it.

I dont know how well this would work for you, but one year my boyfriend bought 12 red roses and we went to a restaurant and through the course of the night, he had a waiter or waitress bring me one until all 12 were given to me. Its not homemade but it was very sweet. and each rose had a cute saying about something he loved about me.

If nobody gives u a valentine gift, you can buy many gifts and write in the card from someone that u loved, so u can feel happy with that, you think that he loves u :P i do that in every year, try it hehe
