I am looking for disorders can occur in or affect dreams. As long as they have to do with dreams, they are fine. Thanks! 8D

Well, from personal experience, I used to dream of falling from a hill while driving a GMC...:|
But now, I keep seeing snakes, cats & scoprionz in my dreamz...
Alot of people say thatz a sign certain ppl around me are evil or enviouse .. but who knows!

I do know that withOUT dreams (REM sleep--rapid eye movement), people begin to hallucinate during waking hours. Dreams incorporate all senses, I think, and powerful ones can seem very, very real.

Alcohol, for instance, evidently prevents dreaming. REM indicates that the person is dreaming, and the mind is watching and following the action, with all senses actively involved. When no REM occurs, the dreams invade waking time. Dreaming is evidently something that the psyche has to do, one way or another.

With excessive alcohol, the dreams emerge and are called hullucinations and are very frightening to the person.
