Yes, it IS possible! I do it all the time when I am traveling so that I don't have to take a lot of DVD's with me on the train, plane, etc.

I use Clone DVD and Any DVD, both available at:
http://www.slysoft.com/en/clonedvd.html

Any DVD removes copy protection and Clone DVD copies the DVD, and also sets up a "virtual DVD drive" for playing them from.

You can't really save without software. You can try Handbrake and see if it will do the job. Normally, the DVDs say copy-protected so I am not sure if they will allow you to rip it into the computer. You can try though. Also, you can use Magic DVD ripper. First though, it is a trial, however, you can buy it.

That's not possible. But you can try limewire. Just go to limewire.com and download the basic one. When it is downloaded, go in there and search for what movie you want to download. When you find it, double click on it to download. Movies take a long time to load and mostly check the movies. It has to be from 400 or more MB. In limewire, you can also download tons of music! Free! Just type in the artist or song name and you'll find that song or artist! Sometimes, you'll have to remember the song name and the artist before you download. Good luck! :D
