I find most people I don't like are either jerks or a**es & I would still despise them no matter color of skin or religion. These people come in all forms 1 size does not fit all. It's a shame to lump them in because of race or religion. A jerk is a jerk no matter what an a** is an a** no matter what. Any other views on this?

I will agree, but disagree

People have been making generalizations since the beginning of time. When you see one person being a jerk, you look at them, and thats your mental picture of a jerk. Then when someone else comes up looking similar, you already are thinking JERK.

Its not based on personality, just on looks.

People are constantly looking for patterns in everything, and looks-personalities is a common misperception humans face.

There is a very small difference in look from any one given person to another, those who are trained to see the difference can. (think pets, can you easily tell one dog with a certain breed and coloring from another of the same breed/coloring? No, but you could if you had grew up thinking it was important.

So when theres a jerk of a different skin color than you, and often that means different facial characteristics, you arn't trained to tell that ethnicity apart and often when you see a jerk, and hes an arab, you then assume all arabs are jerks, at least subconsiously.

So yes, while a jerk is a jerk, peoples appearances can affect your interactions with other people of the same race/ethnicity.

I agree. I also think that hatred starts and grows inside of an individual way before someone outside of them is met to be hated, ya know? Some people are just too too ready to hate someone! What the world needs now is love, sweet love. It's the only thing that there's just too little of. Well, that and free cheesecake samples.

I agree while heartedly. Although I might make some basic judgements based on race or perceived religious beliefs. I do get along with people from all walks of life.
But just cause someone shares my race or creed, doesn't mean They're not a$$h0le$.
