My question is about "crystallography & metallurgy".Why do we have "face centered cubic"?

In the geometry of crystals, this pertains to possible organizations of lattice points. Although Duvois predicted only possible arrangements, it turns outs that all of the lattices exist in nature including the face centered cubic.

because that's how the molecules are orientated. each crystal alligns itself differently
