I want to get my sister something nice but unique for Christmas and I am running out of shopping days. We aren't really close...and I want to avoid the standard things like clothes and items from stores like Bath and Body Works. She likes to read...mostly books like Nora Roberts...but a book isn't unique. She likes the outdoors but isn't into sports. I feel really stuck. Anyone have ANY ideas to help me? I have about $50.00 (US) dollars to spend give or take $5-$10. Any help/ideas are appreciated. Need more details about her please ask. Thanks!

I think she has read a lot of Nora Roberts are there any other writers similar to her? This is not the type of book I read...so I wouldn't know...
And to the sickos suggesting dildos...she is married and you need to get a life...
To the bra and panty dude...get a life...or hook up with the dildo guy...you'd get a long great, I'd be willing to bet.

Oh oh I'm a 28 year old sister!!! I would get her a book and then get her some other things you think she might like. Maybe you could create a 'stocking' for her with the book and maybe some jewelery and candy or candles and even throw in something from b and b works. It takes thought, will be cute and I'm sure appreciated :)

Get a wicker basket (with a nice lining) put a Nora Roberts book in it -- some bath and body works (sample bottles) -- some candles, some perfume....etc... maybe hot cocoa, coffee mug....potpurri...and make the basket yourself -- she will appreciate it! Remember it is the thought that counts and that you took the time to get things she likes a/k/a the Nora Roberts book... she will think it is very thoughtful of you... Good Luck!

How about some books on audio tape? Any book store should have them.Maybe a walkman to go with it. That way while she's walking or enjoying the outdoors...she can listen to her favorite books.Hope that helped,have a great Christmas. I'm sure she'll love ANYTHING you get her!!!
