find their neighbors smelly and they cannot locate criminial, terrorists and illegal aliens? Yesterday on Katie Couric there was a segment on how the Census was able to create a poll on how many Americans disliked their neighbors and it just blew my mind on what a waste of time it is! What is wrong with this?

It's a waste of time to you and it's a waste of time to me but it sure makes money.

Ever see the tease on a TV news show. It goes something like this,
"After the break, find out what part of your body annoys your neighbor the most."

Unless you are brain dead you either want to watch because you're actually worried about the question or you simply want to see just how stupid and low the 'news' can go. Either way, it's designed to keep you watching through the commercials.

Some of these come out of manipulation of the census data. Other times people actually PAY to find this stuff out. It must make money for them but I often wonder about what happens to the minds of those who design the questions....
