Especially when they sample (AKA STEAL) guitar riffs from actual musicians? I saw NAS on jimmy kimmel last night...he totally ripped off iron butterfly...Do rappers actually write thier own music?...or just steal it?

Not all rappers, no. Granted, sampling a song seems a surefire way to have a hit nowadays, but there are still a lot of original rap artists out there. And yes, Nas, did sample Iron Butterfly, but it's a catchy tune. Let's face it, if you're gonna sample a guitar riff, you may as well sample one of the best!

You contradicted yourself. You said "rap" and "music" in the same sentence.
