After much research, we ended in Austin, Texas. We also looked at Madison Wisconsin, Syracuse NY [2d choice], Manhattan Kansas [very close 3d choice], Long Beach Cal, Berkeley Cal, Olympia Washington, Charlottesville Virginia, and others.
All the big college towns have just about anything you would want, tend to be civilized and safe, and are fun.

well i think that if you are not american it doesnt matter where you live. in everyplace some people will be rasists! well i think that you should follow your heart. if you like really warm weater, any of the southern states. if you like mostly cold weather than most of the northern states. just follow your dreams and if you really want to know where to go. if you just follow your heart than you will find the right place!
