So can you give me some name of the company in America, because I'm a vietnamese who always loves to sing English songs ONLY (is it okay for me to become a singer in America???). Thank you very much for helping me open my singing carrer.

YES! It is perfectly OK to try become a singer in America. No matter what nationality you are, or what type of music you like to sing, we need all the talent we can get.

I won't lie to you and tell you it will be easy. Be prepared for rejection. I would say it is a 99.9% probability that the first label you sent your demo to will be rejected (or they wont even write back). Just take it in stride and keep sending your material to as many people as you can find.

Your best bet will be to find an independent label that is focused on the type of music you sing. Because I'm not familiar with your material, I can't recommend one. Find other artists that sing your type of music, and find out what label they are with. Then keep sending your stuff to that label.

Welcome to the business. It is not easy, and it wont pay very well, but there is always the chance. That is what keeps us going.

I'm learning that the best place to get yourself heard is by opening a myspace account and then joining up with similiar interest friends and getting heard. If you can develop a decent following on myspace it's a great first start, then the record companies will come to you. hope this helps.

your ethnicity isn't a problem. just find a recording studio, pay for a CD cut, and send it out to several record companies. keep persisting! don't just give up if they don't reply first off.
