how do you play halo 2 live on a 360 with people that you dont know?

i tryied but the only way that knew was to invite a friend please help me

I'm not sure I understand the question. You still have to send whoever it is you want to play with a friend request, or a party invite. It's no different then when you played Halo 2 on the original Xbox.

You would play on a 360 the same way you played on an Xbox. Enter matchmaking and play like you normally would.
