I have to disagree because most "IQ" tests are norm referenced with 100 being the absolute average. 1 standard deviation from the mean gives you a range of 85 to 115 for average. 115 to 130 is above average. 130-145 is high. The rare person who is over that is probably genius. However I have never seen atest manual that uses that term. The Woodcock Johnson, the WISC, and the Stanford Binet are all Average, Above avg, high, etc.

right here is the stages for the Wechsler Intelligence exams (in all likelihood the main nicely used and precise intelligence exams). Very better a hundred thirty+ better a hundred and twenty-129 severe elementary a hundred and ten-119 elementary 109-ninety Low elementary 80-89 Borderline 70-seventy 9 extremely Low sixty 9 and under Amber is inaccurate. IQs under 70 meet the standards for psychological retardation.

80-120 low
121-140 average
141-160 smart
161+ Geniuss
I scored somewhere above 160 but I was 11 and the test was designed for adults so I guess I have about 200+. But if my teachers ever found out they would make me do more homework and skip grades and put me in gifted classes and stuff. I don't know what the highest possible score is though.
