Report the problem to the police just to have a record of the incident. Pictures or a video would be great support for your story. You can ask that they send an officer over to your home. After he gets your side of the story, he'll go to the neighbor and speak to him about his trespassing and destruction of your property. Then pick-up a couple of those landscaping ties and place them along the edge of your property. They'll create an obstacle for your neighbor and, if you place them correctly, will actually look like you're improving the appearance of your property.

If that doesn't work, call the police again. They will cite your neighbor for the offense and you'll both wind up in municipal court to resolve the problem. You won't need a lawyer ... you'll be represented by the public prosecutor (he represents 'the people' ... you) but your neighbor will need one to explain himself to the judge. That should be the end of that problem, but could be the beginning of another one. People who do what your neighbor does, completely disregarding your property rights, aren't too interested in the law. He may just find something else to bug you about! Good luck!

Tell him to stop, then video him doing it and call the cops to have him arrested for tresspassing. You could also plant 3 penny nails thru a board where his tires will meet them, let him know ahead of time so he cannot claim you set him up.
If worse comes to worse get a restraining order on him. I myself like making anon calls to 911 from local pay phones and reporting that he has drugs in his car, give vehicle description and Lic#. Hilarity always ensues. If they have kids, anon calls to child welfare about his molestation etc. There are thousands of ways to get him.

Kindly ask them to stop first. If that doesn't work, call the police and file charges for tresspassing and property destruction.
If that doesn't work, then fill your yard full of nails and glass where they are driving through it late at night so they won't see you doing it.

That's rather rude ! Put up a no trespassing sign and take photos of the tier tracks and tell him you did, go to the local sheriffs office and file a complaint. If he dose it again take him to small claims court and have him prosecuted.

Make your own spike belt and lay it inconspicuously in the lawn. Then watch the fun unfold!
