There are over 90 different wart viruses, some warts respond to freezing, burning, and the like well, while others are more like clusters originating beneath the skin making such treatments largely ineffective. I picked up one of the harder to rid strands at a gym that I used to exercise at daily, tried everything and the only thing that worked for me was using warts no more (a homeopathic oil combination). You apply it to your skin, let the skin soak it in, and just keep doing that once or twice a day til the warts go away (don't have to cover them or anything annoying). Might take a month, but freezing your warts, having them dry out and fall off, and then have your skin heal and return back to normal takes about as long if it works (I kept having to redo it and it never was succesful).

Have you been to the doctor to get it frozen or did you just cool it with ice till it went numb? The doctor will use liquid nitrogen this will freeze it properly if applied in the right way. Don't cut it it will make it possible for it to spread. You could try 'bazooka', this comes in a tube (inc instructions) that you can get from the chemist.

Same thing happened to me. It took about a year, but I had to go in every 3 months and get it frozen off and each time, it came back smaller. Finally, it was small enough that the medication could reach the root and kill it. If you aren't that patient, ask your doctor to surgically remove it. Good Luck!

First leave your finger alone. Only those in the medical prof know how to remove warts by your method. Go to the doc he has the stuff and can do it in the surgery. Phoof its gone.
I am told using and old penny to rub on the art removes it.

Find a book on understanding warts from inside out of your skin.

my daughter s fingers were covered in warts and we tried everything to rid them. while on holiday visiting my parents my mum said she would buy them off her. this is an old wives tale obviously! she paid my daughter for them and amazingly they were all gone within 6 months and that was without treatment. believe it or not! lol not sure of the logic behind this and no a doctor would say its total rubbish but isnt anything worth a go. lol

I know this sounds disgusting but it does work. Get a big black snail and let it glide over the wart. Within a week it will be gone, it is something in the trail that they leave that kills the warts.

In that case.. the only other alternative(to burning, freezing, etc) is to have it surgically removed.. where they go in and get the disgusting root of the wart..
