How would "I" change one panel? I would`nt. I`d change the whole slab. But that`s just me. How hard is it? Not hard at all given the right tools and knowledge of how the door is constructed. Simply rout off the edges of the stiles, head and mid rails that hold the panel in place. You`ll have to chisel the corners that were`nt removed by the router. Hopefully at this point you have a replacement for the damaged panel.Place it in the opening and secure it in place with shoemould or some other appropriate moulding. Don`t glue or nail the panel, it`s suppose to "float" in the opening.

If I understand, you have a solid panel door, and one of the panels is damaged, or for some reason you need to change one of the panels. It is possible, depending on how it is made, but that's way too much work. Get a new slab door and replace the whole door. Like the previous answer, you may need to plane the slab to fit the door jamb, then mortise the hinges in the slab.

that's not too hard. Just get a door "blank" of the same size from your local Lowe's/Home depot and install it . remove the old door and the hinge panels from it place them side by side and with the hinge mortice's up and transfer the layout to the other panel. in most cases you wont have to cut the mortises for the new door but if you do you can work that out.

I would simply buy a new door
the trouble and material wouldnt be worth the finished door. it would never act the same when closing/ opening. You can save all your hardware and the replacment would be cheaper. just buy a new door. good luck
