I've tried both programs- Jumpsoles and Air Alert III. I can tell you that the money you pay for jumpsoles is not worth it. Air Alert III is too tedious a program to actually complete and do regularly.
I recommend just working out your legs. Some great exercises are box squats, lunges, and calf raises (stand on a step with your heels hanging off and stretch your legs high as you can). After a week start doing these exercises with weights and build up. It not only makes you jump higher, it makes you quicker.
Before you start a program calculate your vertical jump by first measuring how high you can reach on tippy toes and then jump and see how high you can reach. Calculate the difference.

try air alert III. guarenteed to work. just don't use it during basketball season or you'll have knee problems.
