I just got some contract work and the agency has told me to opt out of allowing the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 to apply to them. What does this mean and how does that affect me?

I certainly wouldnt elect to opt out of it without further information and a full understanding of what it is you are being asked to "opt out of".

Start with the site below (assuming your in the UK) but double check with a Union before agreeing to anything.
Good Luck :-)
