I just graduated with my masters degree this month and I am living in my first apartment...why not, right?

First of all, Congrat on your successes this year! That's awesome!!
Second, absolutely buy yourself a gift! Wrap it , put it under the tree, shake it to see if you can "guess" what it is if that's what you want to do! You've worked very hard and you deserve to be a little silly! Go, you!

Yes, i have bought something for myself, wrapped it and put it under the tree, it was the year my I lost both of my parents, just wanted to have more gifts under the tree, I may sound like i was a little selfish back then but I was still in mourning because my daddy had passed only the month before, and I had no invitations to spend time with friends and I was very lonely even though I had a dog at the time.

I buy myself presents almost every year. Silly? I guess it really depends on how you look at it. Myself, I think that I deserve it after all that I've been through. Everyone needs to treat themselves to a certain degree.

yes, I have. there was a gentleman whom I used to work with who had no family and very few friends. he purchased Christmas gifts for himself on lay - a - way where the store would gift wrap and then on the week or so before Christmas he had several nice gifts but by the time Christmas came he had forgotten what he had purchased so they were a surprise.

Every single year! Sometimes I buy it in June and wrap it then and usually forget what it is by Christmas so it's a big surprise!

Yes, it's because i'll be shopping for my friend's christmas presents and i end up buying some things for myself. I've never wrapped it up though.

well the year i got my first "real" job, right around the holidays, i bought myself a new sofa set more my living room. I didnt wrap them.

I didn't wrap it but when I was Christmas shopping last week I bought myself an expensive perfume. The best gift I buy should be for me.

lol...sounds funny. Nope. I've not done it and I've not heard of it either! :P Actually I've bought myself a birthday present so heck..why not?! I suppose you wouldn't wrap it..would you? That wouldn't make any sense.
