Cashiers are rude to people who:
Do not follow the express lane item limit. (A few is okay, but when you're 10 over the limit and still ask to come in! C'mon!)
Put their items on the belt and run off to find more items when there are 4 or 5 other customers waiting.
Make the bagger go find items they couldn't find. (This holds up the line and makes the cashier work harder because he/she has to total up the order and then bag it by them self!)
Complain that they can't buy cigarettes with food stamps!
Don't understand what they can and can not purchase with WIC.
Complain about high prices for products (Cashers don't set the price, why complain about it to them?)
Customers that come in 5 minutes before closing and buy a sh*t load of groceries.
Customers who don't bring enough money to pay for their food and sort through what they want to put back.
People who continue to shop even after the store announces that all customers must come and pay for their items so we can close the store.
The WORST one is when customers come in through the EXIT after the store is close!
I always tried to be nice to customers, but some of you f*cks just deserve the attitude.

I hate them! Back in the day when I worked as a cashier.....my job would have been on the line if I spoke to a customer the wrong way. I know I shouldn't....but when I get some punk jerk treating me with no respect as a customer....I turn right around and treat them like a total PEON that is not worth a dime. Same goes for when I (on rare occasions) get a really nice one....I smile, chit chat and say thank you, have a great day!

I had a very rude casher/clerk at a UPS store once and I threw my Drivers License at the jerk I wanted to do way more I even started screaming at him he was totally rude for no reason and I reminded him of what his job was and how he came off so rude in the first place he calmed down and apoligized to me but I still went home and called there corporated headquarters.

I have thought about it, though when I was young I watched my uncle pull one halfway across by his tie, then grab the knot and pull it so hard he went bright red trying to loosen it again to get air. It was hillarious.
And I agree totally about the cashiers today, they must think they are saving the world with their attitudes

Oh yes. Several times. I guess I would be the same way if making only minimum wage...having to deal with the public during the holiday season. Yikes!!

I DID grab one of them last year. I got thrown out, but it sure did feel good.
I would fire my employees if they EVER treated our customers the way that most cashiers treat people. Then again, I pay my employees better than those blokes at McDonald's pay theirs.

Oh, yes! And years ago I was a cashier, and I was always so polite. What happened to "the customer is always right?"
