There are 2 types of restores. You can do a rollback to an earlier date, which will not delete any of your downloaded files.
Or you can do a System Restore, which will reformat your hard drive and make your computer the same as it was the day you took it out of the box. The System Restore will delete all files.

You mean using the System Restore tool in Windows XP? If that's what you mean then don't worry about, your files are safe, System Restore only rolls back system files, registry changes, etc, it doesn't touch your files.

no! it will only restore systems files.if u want to system restore because of what u uninstall i think it will not work.better if u have internet connection,get the brand name of ur motherboard then goto its website and download the driver u want.

IF the controller came separate from windows,you should be able to go the the manufacture's website and download the driver.

Careful. Don't do that...
The Computer restores everything how it was... It will delete the files and all.
I recommend you backup or something..

you can slave you hard drive into annother computer and copy your files over then do a reload on your comp
