station one means the head is coming down into the birthing canal and is preparing for delivery you can stay at 2cm for a long time take walks ask your partner to use a tennis ball and rub it on your low back or try hot showers

Nothing really helped me. I had back labor, so my then husband rubbed my lower back with one of those back massagers. Going up on all fours and rocking slightly helped me a bit. Once I got to the hospital I was 3 cm and they said if I walked around the hospital for an hour and a half and came back 4 cm, I'd be admitted. I walked around, sort of lightly jumped down the stairs (LOL) and tried to use gravity to open things up down there. It worked because when I went back to triage I was 4 cm and they admitted me. So maybe go around the block for a walk with your partner. My SIL said those big bouncy exercise balls really helped her. She sat on it and really bounced and it helped quicken the process. Good luck!

When I gave birth to my first child, I found that finding a focus point helped me. Visualize something in your mind and try only to picture that and think of that only, instead of the pressure from the contractions. It helped me. The other things that helped was the slow breathing. Concentrate on your breathing, so you don't hyperventilate.

Good luck and congrads.

It's early labor. When are you due? Until you go into active labor, just rest. Good Luck!
