dose any one here have the habit of biting there nails and how much do you bite them do you stop if they hurt or keep biting
do you know any friends that bite there nails this much.
I just want to know what makes a person enjoy doing this and to want point do they stop?

I bite my nails and for me this is a habit I can't control. I don't really think about it, I just do it! I do bite them until they hurt and even to the point that they bleed. I stop when I either can't reach the nail with my teeth anymore or because it hurts. A favorite nail would be my ring finger nail. I don't know why, but it is the first nail I go to bite. For some reason I think the nail on my ring fingers are softer. Believe me, I would stop if I could, but I've had the habit my whole life and like I said I hardly even think about it anymore. I just do it!

i used to bite my fingertips (skin around the nail) to the point of bleeding sometimes, it hurt a lot, but i stopped when i was like 13 i think. i never was into biting my nails though.

I was a nail biter. My favorite nail was my index finger on my right hand.The reason is because I get nervous and bite my nails.I quit finally by having my nails done with artificial nails. They look better now and I finally quit biting my nails.

i bite my nails until they bleed and it hurts my fav nail to bite is my thumb and i dont know why

bite your middle finger it taste so good and it taste like coocanuts
