Foreign Yahoo users----The United States of America: We invented: car, airplane, telephone, computer, movie projector, camera, movie camera, television, plastic, GPS, cell phones, nuclear energy, , refrigerator, toilet, washing machine, dryer. . We missed on the helicopter, but screw that. We discovered electricity and invented the light bulb.. We have walked on the on the moon. We took the best of what Europe had to offer and we made it work and made it practical. Basically, the United States took the world out of the dark ages and if you hate us then turn off that computer you're reading this on, don't talk on your cel phone, and stop driving your car, and flying on airplanes. Yeah, USA can claim those inventions for free. But, could we manage to make (or even just to think about) all those great tools and discoveries without the most important invention in our history? or I should say, paper? AFAIK, paper is the first thing you need to have before you start to do even the simplest thing. By the way, the Chinese is the first to make paper.
I can't deny if anyone say that USA is the world greatest nation. But I'll be very agree if someone say that the Chinese is the true greatest nation.
If we ever hate the Chinese (according to your lines you throw up there), may be we don't have to "turn off the computer we're reading this on, not to talk on our cell phone, and stop driving our cara, and flying on airplanes". We just have to turn our lives off.
(I'm not a Chinese in anyway).
God bless ALL nations. Peace!

We did NOT invent the car, or the airplane, camera, cell phone or toilet.

We did not discover electricity.

And people say the Soviets re-wrote history!

I am not a foreigner but here is what I have heard in international chatrooms........

"Send us money to feed our poor, cure disease , cover all our disasters, help supplement our governments and keep your mouth shut about how we spend the money or anything we do with the money."

Basically "America keep the money pouring in and shut the Hades up ".

At least give Alexander Graham Bell his correct country of birth.
Alexander Graham Bell was born in 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He moved to Ontario, and then to the United States, settling in Boston, before beginning his career as an inventor.

Nuclear technology was first created in America. However, many new immigrants helped in the process of developing nuclear energy. Including Jewish scientist fleeing Germany, like Albert Einstein.

So what you're saying is the past accomplishments should outweigh the current deficiencies? Nice try. Buy the way, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone and he was Canadian so you don't even KNOW what you're talking about.

Discredited.
