Why is it wrong for guys to wear sneakers with some pink on it?

I see guys wear pink t-shirts,ties,etc...,but when a guy wear sneakers with some pink on it,they get a strange look.
i see women wear guy stuff,suits,ties,& sneakers.so yahoo answer community tell me why?

also guys do you wear sneakers with some pink on them?

i'm not saying wearing all pink sneakers,just with some pink accent on it.whats wrong with that.

to all i do sometimes wear sneakers with pink accent.i think pink is an awesome color.its sad we as humans associate pink as girly,very sad.

Nothings wrong with it,hopefully as you get a little more mature,your masculinity won't be in question simply because you wear pink !!

Some people feel that any guy wearing pink is a little...well you know what I mean. I fell that it is fine as long as it's not to over excessive.Ex. Pink shades & pink polo. That's a never. I don't really think guys should wear pink shoes..well with a little bit of pink in them. People are just barely accepting the pink shirts on guys.I don't think were ready for the pink shoes. You should leave the pink shoes to the ladies.

Currently, it's just not socially acceptable. You can do it, but expect to get a lot of flack from your pals. Pink is considered the most feminine of colors, so any pink on a male is usually interpreted as a bad sign. Any hint of the feminine in males in the current culture is considered extremely bad. And in the current cultural scheme, shoes are heavily sexualized, which is why men's shoes of our time are extremely boring.

On the other hand, women can get away with wearing anything from the male wardrobe, from cowboy boots to combat boots to boxer shorts, blazers and ties. This is considered acceptable because malehood is still valued as the "top gender" by both sexes, so if women want to move up and borrow, they can. However, it's not acceptable for a man to lower himself to femininity by borrowing from the female wardrobe. It's not like anybody will physically stop you, but you'll pay a heavy price socially.

I have no idea. My stepfather wears pink shirts sometimes, and the shades he found go great with his deep olive skin (he's Sicilian of South Asian origin.) Plus it's the color of Palermo's soccer team ;)

It's my opinion that the only people who don't like pink on guys who look good in it and think it isn't "masculine" obviously don't get out of the middle of nowhere enough to know!

denims, tshirts, cardigans, hoodies, shorts (now no longer short shorts, PLEASE), camis... dress often, come on! Jeez, midsection college IS a gigantic bounce to your existence, even though it can't difference your type that plenty. in simple terms look passable. and don't dress sleazy, yuck. no longer something worse than a preteen dressing like a crack hoe. Oh, and don't purchase enterprise perceive until ultimately you're complete springing up, or you will have the flexibility to easiest be waiting to positioned on it for a month or 2 and then it does no longer fit and that's an significant waste.

Guys just don't wear pink on their sneakers. It looks a little girlish and it kinda looks odd and wrong. People(including girls) will think it is wicked weird. No guy will wear pink on their sneakers.

No it isnt....there are guys i know that have pink on their shoes,but the guys i no are skaters so they wear skater shoes.
