every time i close my laptop it turns on a black screen (i think standby) but i does not turn on again even if i press the keys. then i should hold the switch off buttun in order to turn it off and i always loose my data.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO ARRANGE IT???

sounds like there might be a button that is stuck on it like the one next to the screen the one that gets pushed down when the screen closes
you can also try my computer then performance and maintance and power options

Maybe you would like to check is it because of some software on your computer does not support standby. When that happened, it will have problem going to standby, coming back from standby and etc.
Try to reinstall the full OS and try again.
