You know, you cant get anything from dreaming or hoping. You need to do something! Look for some guy or befriend someone. But always remember! Do not flirt! Just act the way like you are! Dont act all shy around! I mean, your just friends right? But if you want him to fall for you, act all nice and caring but stay cool. Dont be insecure! Show the real you! But there is only 0.1% possibility that there is still guys that do those stuff. But still keep hopin'!

Would it be brainwashing if the parents specifically raised their daughter to become a high powered buisness women? From what you have said it is as if being a housewife is a bad thing, almost comparable to life long house arrest. Some women like taking care of the home and children. I'm sure some men would do the same if they were sure they wouldn't get nasty comments about it; as if they aren't a real man. Edit: About 90% of my high school teachers said I would amount to nothing and become a drug user, partly because of the town I live in. I'm now doing a BA degree at the only university in the world who currently teach my combined English and proffesional writing course. Negative comments often work the other way and brainwashing doesn't always work.

As you get older and have more experience with what guys are really like, you'll realize Cinderella got the last prince. You'll be lucky if you learn to settle for honest, trustworthy, loyal, hard-working, decent guys.

love makes us feel all goofy and young again, doesnt matter what age, there is always something magical about it, until they stick ya in the heart with the knife and saw half way through,,,,
I think mostly it is a fantasy,, we all have problems, we all deal in day to day junk,, best we can do is find happiness with someone and love them to the best of our ability, even on the bad days,,,
you are not young, I am 46 and your thoughts are right on with mine, we all want love,,,,
