What type of oil is needed for a Rover Mini 1.3 Spi engine?

Need recommendation for viscosity (10W/30?) and brand if possible.

if its a complete oil change its up to you ,its down to how much you want to pay.you can go as far as a fully synthetic low viscosity oil which will use less petrol and make the car slightly faster,go to the oil shop and check prices they will advise.if its just to top up you need to know what was last used
