Were the parents of the baby the ones smoking?
If so there is pretty much nothing I could do... I would consider them them to be incredibly selfish and ignorant but it is likely they have been told before and completely ignored other's advice..
.. I still think it should be considered child abuse... if you exposed a child to each of the chemicals found in cigarrettes separately then everyone..including smokers.. would think it cruel... why is it OK when all the chemicals mixed together??

Well it would depend on how brave I felt and how friendly they looked...but I would point out that they are slowly killing the baby and why not go outside to smoke if they HAD to do it...against the law to smoke in pubs here in Scotland so it is BLISS ! Smoke free clothes and hair after a night out!

I would know that I was in a pub in Poplar, London. I got off the train there by mistake and thought that I had wandered onto the set of 'Land of the Living Dead.'

I would wonder about the parents that allowed the baby to be there. I would also know that I wasn't in Ireland.
