I had this problem recently, and the only fix I found was to go out and buy a new bed. along with my chiropractor appointments, and now I have no back pain in the morning. It took about two weeks for me to get used to the new mattress, but all is good now. I used to wake up on my stomach almost every morning, and my lower back hurt so bad, it took me sometimes almost 4-5 minutes to get myself out of bed. Now I wake up and just slip right out, no problems, and I don't seem to wake up on my stomach much now either.

Sounds like a muscle stress. If you'll, take a look at studying to sleep to your again. This is by and large the exceptional to your spinal wire, and, incidentally, maintains your face from setting up wrinkles!! As stated, take a sizzling bathtub, do not undertaking, and do not run; take it effortless. If you might have heating pad, apply it to low, at the same time sitting, however under no circumstances use it in mattress;you can also go to sleep and get burned. It might take a few days for it to get bigger.

Maybe you have a strong curve to your back. If you sleep on your stomach, this could make your lower back feel tense, or tight, like when you have your leg or arm in a position for a long period of time.

It always happens to me too. I find sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees relieves the tension a lot. goodluck!

Sleeping on your stomach is the worse thing you can do. It is bad on your back. I used to do it and then I stopped. I went to the chiropractor for years until I found out that sleeping on my stomach was the root of my problem. It throws your spinal cord out of allignment.

I dont know about the blood, but a herniated disk will cause your back to hurt bad, when laying on your stomache...you need to see your doctor asap.
