I have a friend that bought a new computer and he has dsl and would like me to transfer some files and install some programs for him.he lives an hour away and i am trying to find a way to connect to his computer from my home to help him.What do I need to do this and how?

I personally use a free program called logmein from http://www.logmein.com and it works great. It will also allow you to troubleshoot it for him should they have problems. Hope this helps

Have your friend let you connect to his computer with remote access from your system tools and then you can see what is on his computer and be able to access files that he want's you to have copies of
