and once they get power, say they must work together with the Reps......they didn't for 6 years, are they just liars? Can one group of people be more two faced? How can you all stand next to the group that lies to you, and the american people?

Democrats lied to the Democrat Voters.
They always do.
Democrat Voters never catch on. They just draw their welfare checks and wait for the next election so they can vote Democrat again.

As shocking as it might seem the democrats were playing to the media for 6 years and now they don't have to. Over the past 6 years, democrats have been on every major network explaining how they were being left out of decisions, not advised on major issues, robbed of elections by voting machines that didn't function or ballots people couldn't understand, and threatening filibusters at every turn. It didn't make for a good working environment in Washington.
Now that the democrats have control, there was no voting machine problems -even though the media reported some issues in many states. Their song to the voting choir is "we have to work together". In January and the months to follow we will see just how the democrats are going to handle their new majority. It may be interesting or it may be a total disaster. Only time will tell.

This kind of question kills me. For 8 years the republicans and their supporters hammered at Clinton, throwing everything they could at him. They even tried to accuse him of murder. Now those same republicans are accusing the dems of interfering with the presidents ability to govern. Talk about hypocrisy! They even went so far as to impeach him. And please, spare me the "he lied under oath" speech. The republicans had the choice to proceed with the impeachment or not. The choice to do so was politically motivated. Henry Hyde, one of the managers at the impeachment trial, has said do.
Another thing is the reps have controlled the house and senate for over 4 years, not to mention the white house. They controlled the agenda, they controlled the committees. The republicans had the ability to pass any legislation they wanted to and there is nothing the dems could do about it. What willingness have they shown to work with the dems? Go back and look at Bush first press conference after he won reelection. His idea of bipartisanship is for the dems to "cross over to his side of the aisle". In other words no compromise, which is at the core of politics. It was what it has been for all the time the reps have been in control: their way or the highway. The American people see that and THAT'S why the reps were handed their collective hats on election day.

what governing process? this question is laughable! shows how close minded you are, its your way or no way at all, and everyone will get to hear you scream (thankfully we still have freedom of speech). have you once, thought of all the smaller freedoms we have lost over the past 5 years? does that even matter to you? all poloticians will and can, mislead the people, one just has to be smart enough to sift through all the crap, and sort everything out and make their own judgements, as you have yours. besides, why preach to choir, the preachers are already doing that, anyone who knows much of anything, will also realize that the blind love to follow the blind, so go follow your party, thats your right to do so!
and maybe they just don't want to talk to you, because they know they will get your goat!

Baloney. Bush did nothing to include any member of the Democratic party in any facet of the government. He played partisan politics to the hilt. And now the GOP is on the outside and they are whining away.

Do you forget the GOP congress with Clinton? Hell, they did everything to destroy his presidency. Jesse Helms held up many appointments, the GOP house impeached Clinton on pure political grounds. Every obstacle they could put in Clinton's path, they did. Clinton, on the other hand, tried to include the GOP in his government - his secretary of defense was a Republican, some of his advisers were Republicans. The GOP under Bush is a monolithic, self centered power mad bunch.

So the hell with the whining - just take it like a man.

Get a grip. The republicans have owned the government, lock, stock and barrel for the last six years, where do you get off with the lie you are telling? You must be one of those compassionate conservatives I keep hearing about but never see.

The Dems are lizzards. They go where it's the warmest, and what's best for them.
