in 1985, he was invited to the White House and was personally thanked by then-President Ronald Reagan at a ceremony for donating the song "Beat It" for use in drunk driving prevention television and radio public service announcements.
Jackson continued his charity work in 1985 by co-writing, with Lionel Richie, the hit single "We Are the World".
The charity single helped to raise money and awareness for the famine in East Africa.
The song also won a Grammy Award for "Song of the Year".

Isn't it ovbious! He is a wonderful singer and a great dancer. He is known for selling millions and millions of his records. He also donates a lot of money to hospitals and orphans. He isn't a racist and he loves children. He is a very handsome guy, and nobody has the right to judge him by the way he looks! The surgeries he has had don't affect anybody but himself! Leave him alone! It's nobody's concern about what he does. He is an adult and he knows what he's doing! He has had many difficulties in his life and he doesn't deserve to be disrespected. All he deserves is Love,Compassion, and Freedom! He is innocent! Why can't people accept that! If you people don't like Michael,fine! Nobody is forcing you to like him! If you don't like him then why do you even bother wasting your time by asking or answering a question about him? Leave him alone! Leave him alone!

because he can dance like no other person i've ever seen. have you ever seen 'thriller'? that is a must.
i don't really like Micheal Jackson, but golly can that guy dance!
