Has a bartender ever slid a drink your way on the bar counter like in the movies???

By this I mean you are at one end of the bar and he's at the other ... you yell "Bartender, let me get a _______"

he responds "Coming right up"

makes the drink at his end ... lays it on the bar counter .... and slides it all the way to your end and you drink it ...

I've never attempted to do that for a customer, but it would be cool. Usually there's too many ashtrays, pretzel bowls, beer bottles, barflies and other assorted items in the way to really have a clear path to work with.

And don't you know, some jerk would probably grab it as it went by and drink it himself...lol

convinced, yet in effortless words on the interior sight biker/metalhead bar because i recognize all of them there and they purchase me drinks continuously cuz they imagine i'm "lovable". the different bar - i does no longer. it truly is merely no longer danger-free anymore. I stay in a large city and females are cautioned continuously no longer to settle for drinks from strangers. If each person at my prevalent hang-out were to even imagine about hurting or drugging me they'd have a significant difficulty on their fingers. they're very protecting of me there.

Yeah a couple of times at this place called The Dog & Bone; it's a little British Pub just north of where I live, it's fabulous!
