I'm not sure. I'm sure all phones and batteries have different "life" length.
However-
Do yourself a favor, and extend your battery life, by ALWAYS letting the battery completely die before re-charging. Also, do not talk on your cell phone when charging. These two things will extend the life of your cell phone battery. This goes for all rechargeable batteries.
A cell phone salesperson might tell you to always keep it on a charger, but think about it....they gain sales when your battery dies and you have to purchase another one.

Depending on the type of phone that you have, it takes anywhere from 12-36 hours to completely charge.
Like someone already said, never talk on it while it charges, and let the battery completely die before recharging again, that goes for a home phone ( cordless) cell phone and any kind of battery that recharges it. Leaving it on the charger will constantly put a positive ion charge into the battery not letting it actually attach to the negative side in the battery, causing a ultimate malfunction.
(DEAD BATTERY) I know someone also said that the sales people always tell you to leave it charged, but thats the initial charge, when you get a full handset or when you get a new battery. SO AS FAR AS SAYING THAT, I never tell people to do it immediately.
Good luck with the new wireless phone!

As with most new batteries(rechargeable ones that is) they should be charged for at least 16 hours and, up to 24 hours for some.this will assure max. life and, rechargeabilty. PLEASE be sure this particular batterie type is rechargeable. most are not.Nickel Cadmium batteries are rechargeable. But, its allways a good idea to read mfgs.warnings. Not rechargeable means just that!!! batteries can, and do explode. it happened to me. hope this answered your question. trackerjim

no longer some thing. It only gained't run as lengthy. this is not any longer a topic. although batteries are stated to keep their optimal fee longer if oftentimes charged completely up and entirely down. this signifies that in the longer time period its no longer an excellent concept to keep charging them at the same time as they are literally 0.5 finished of fee. this is not any longer a huge deal even with the truth that.
