A "pixel" isn't really a unit of measurement. The image on your computer screen is made up of thousands of individual colored dots; each one of these dots is a pixel. If you're looking on a monitor, the pixels may be larger or smaller depending upon your screen resolution. So there isn't any one answer to how many pixels you have in each centimeter.

Historically, before screens had different resolutions, there were 72 pixels per inch; this is about 28.35 pixels per centimeter.

In a sense, this still applies when printing; if you print something directly from your screen, then you will get 28.35 pixels (dots) per centimeter on the paper. However, today's printers offer many more pixels per centimeter than this, so printing a text document usually prints with much more detail than what you see on your screen. This time the number of pixels per centimeter depends on the capabilities of your printer.

The only way in which the historical 72 pixels per inch really applies today is in font sizes. A 72-point font is supposed to be exactly one inch high when you print it. Thus, if you printed using a 1000-point font, it would be 1000 / 28.35 = 35.28 centimeters high.

pixel is not a unit measure unlike centimetre. Pixel is short for "picture element", hence, you can have pixel of various sizes. You can have big pixel and small pixel as small as the individual dot in a resolution of computer monitor.
For short there is no equivalence between centimeter and pixel.

It depends on how many pixels per inch. It is determined by the image resolution. You could have 6 pixels per inch or 300, it entirely depends on the setting for the reslution of them image. There is no blanket, single answer to your question.
