i don't like anyone else in my grade, everyone is so conceited and obsessed with popularity. my two best friends live in another country. i am 15 and want good friends who i can tell everything to and hang out with please help me

ditch the losers. Give them a taste of their own medicine and ignor the crap out of them. When they ask 'why are you ignoring us?' say "because you're a bunch of bitches!"

It is important for young people to want to be popular. However kids can be cruel and heartless. My son went through this. He was bullied and tormented for years. I had always taught my son to be an individual. Eventually he made some great friends interested in the same things.
When I was in school I would always go for kids that were kind of loners...not part of a gang. Watch the kids and see who pretty much sticks to themselves. Then make friends with them...They may not look cool and wear the latest trends in clothes but I bet they have a heart. Also anyone that is strong enough to distance themselves from the crowd will make a good friend

O sweetie believe me you will make friends jus be yourself. I take it you're a frshman in high school, things wil be hard for a while because you are growin up but it will be ok(promise) but if you ever feel like you really need someone to talk to and there is no one to turn to you can email me at mickeykoehne@yahoo.com and i will try to be of some help.
